Little Rock Reed: During the more than ten years he served in prison in Ohio, Little Rock fought for Aboriginal prisoners rights to access elders and spiritual ceremonies. He was a major contributor to the JPP, contributing articles and co-editing Vol. 4 from inside prison. His 'case' is discussed throughout the early years of the JPP. After release he edited and wrote "The American Indian in the Whiteman s Prisons: A Story of Genocide (1993)". Shortly thereafter he became a "fugitive from injustice" because of his political activities. He sadly died in a traffic accident in January 2000 in Taos, New Mexico. Little Rock was and still is a part of the JPP.
